Gangasagar Project
We have purchased two plots of land measuring 3 Bighas at Ganga Sagar Island near bus terminus. We have constructed two wings of 4 rooms each with sufficient toilets as Yatri Niwas for pilgrims. We annually arrange the Mela Camp for 10 days. The building and the open space is utilized during Makar Sankranti Festival for accommodation of 1500 pilgrims. Free meal, tiffin, tea, snacks, dry ration, fire wood etc. are distributed during Mela.
Coaching Centre– We are running one coaching centre wherein the students of nearby areas attend.
Kathakar Yojna – We provide our premises to arrange one month trainning course of boys and girls twice a year under Kathakar Yojna where the persons are trained to work in mountain region of North bengal as well as in the north east states of India.
Satsang Kendra- We are running a weekly Satsang Kendra.
Expansion: We have installed a Deep Tubewell of 950 ft. depth with a submercible pump since the water supply of Govt. agency is erratic as well as the water quality is not good. Raising of ground level is in progress. This year we also constructed permanent toilets, bath room, kitchen, dinning hall and store room before the annual sagar mela in January, 2010.
