Shri Lakshmi Narayan Todi

Sri Lakshmi Narayan Todi was born on 6th June, 1937 in the town ofNarayanganj now in Bangladesh. He was partly educated in Narayanganj and partly in the town of Motihari in Bihar. He is one of the seven sons of Sri Radha Krishna Todi (since deceased) a businessman who shifted to india in 1947 after partition. After completing matriculation from motihari (Bihar), he shifted to Calcutta for higher studies. He completed his B.Com and Chartered accountancy and started practicing as a Chartered Accountant inCalcutta.

He joined Yogik Sangh, an Intitution which the Aches Yogasan, Pranayam and Satkarma etc. He became president of Yogik Sangh for few years. He joined Lions Club of Howrah in 1967 and helped to build a hospital in Howrah in the name of Howrah lions hospital which is now famous for cataract Operations.

He joined Seva Bibhag of Vishva Hindu Parishad in the year 1975 as project Pramukh and looked after Gopal, Jalaberia and other projects. He founded a Trust Manav Seva Pratisthan with other like minded persons for looking after these projects.

In 1980 he joined Vipassana for Dhyan and mental health and became Acharya. Since 1996 he slowly & gradually retired from his profession and fully involved in Vipassana and Seva Prakalpa of Manav Seva Pratisthan.
